At MISUMI, you will find highly configurable rack gears in many geometric designs that can be customized to your needs.

In the MISUMI online shop you will find a variety of milled or ground rack gears for your rack drive, including helical, linear or round rack gears. In most cases, straight-toothed racks are used, but MISUMI also offers slanted-toothed racks.
Rigid or flexible gear racks can be selected in the materials steel, stainless steel, brass, aluminum and plastic. The rack gears are burnished or chromated and protected against corrosion. Hardened rack gears are inductively hardened on the surface so that they are protected from wear and their durability is thereby increased. The module for the rack drive can be selected in 0.5 to 10. The rack is available in widths from 3 to 90 mm and in diameters from 8 to 50 mm. The racks can be configured in lengths from 45 mm to 4000 mm in 1 mm increments.
The range of use of the rack and pinion gear is very far-reaching in mechanical engineering and plant engineering. These can convert simple rotational movements into linear movements, but can also serve as a rack drive in precise controls. Racks are often found in lifting tables and positioning stages.
