The equalizing element of the EK coupling is the elastomer insert. It transmits torque without backlash or vibration. The elastomer insert defines the characteristics of the entire drive system.
Backlash is eliminated by the press fit of the elastomer into the hubs. Through variation of the Shore hardness of the elastomer insert, the coupling system can be optimized for the ideal torsional characteristics.
High torque transmission, energy saving design, large allowable misalignment, no backlash product.
[Features] · Metal leaf spring employs a dividing element, achieving excellent flexibility and high reliability. · Elements are laminated elements of 0.3 mm and 0.5 mm thick, selected stainless steel. · Number of sheets can be increased or decreased as required.
High torque transmission, energy saving design, large allowable misalignment, no backlash product. Can be used where distance between the devices.
[Features] · Can be used where distance between the devices. · For maintenance, remove the spacer for easier work without cutting-off driver and driven unit.
Material: Coupling hubs: Grey Cast Iron GG25 (GJL-250). Elastomers: NBR, hardness 80ºA Shore, black. Torsionally flexible cam coupling, fail-safe, with damping effect. The MÄDLER® version is improved: Machined claws result in longer lifetime. Couplings are non-bored or pre-bored, depending on the size. Customized bores and feather-key grooves available at extra charge. Temperature range: -30ºC to +80ºC.
